I was in Guyana in July trying to get a flight back to Barbados - when I was forewarned of another scheme to silence me. This is the first personally disconcerting news I have heard in several years, you may recall how Dr. Albert Deterville of CAIP was able to nip the last potential incident in the bud by alerting the OAS after I passed on information of a similar nature to him some years ago.

Much to my chagrin, I was appraised yesterday as to a new attempt to falsely incarcerate or permanently silence me , according to the same reliable source within the Guyana Police Force who provided the invaluable info previously - a new 'Solution to the Corrie problem' is in the planning stages.

My source overheard a conversation among 4 members of the 'Impact Patrol' who mentioned my name and the the fact that they are being offerred an amount of money (sum undisclosed) to either plant a small amount of narcotics on my person or somehow get me to induce a substance that is untraceable in autopsy unless specifically looked for; the name of the person was not mentioned but appears to be a male person in the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs. My personal suspicions as to the identity of the sponsor are contained in the previous alert sent to Dr. Deterville and this is publicly posted on the Confederacy website.

I must admit that I am dumbfounded as to reason for such drastic measures against myself at this point for the Confederacy has not been at logerheads with the Guyana government since President Bharrat Jagdeo entered office - and in fact we have been among the top 10 promoters of Guyana as an eco-tourism paradise...all was well as far as I was concerned.

I would appreciate any measures that you might conceive of undertaking to once again stave-off this 'Kangaroo court/assasination scenario'. In this case - silence is not golden, only by publicising the plot in advance of its enaction can I hope to make it un-executable...at least for the time being until they think of a new scheme 2 or 3 years hence.
